Ohio Valley Speedway Announces 2023 Race Season
Washington, W.Va. (January 12, 2023) – Ohio Valley Speedway is excited to announce a jam-packed schedule for the 2023 season. The 65th season of short track racing excellence at the legendary Lubeck oval will kick off with a practice on March 24 and 31, and the official green flag dropping on the season Friday, April 7.
Gates will open at 4 p.m., with mini wedge action at 6 p.m., and hotlap/qualifying starting at 7 p.m.. General admission price is $15, and children under 10 are free; pit admission is $30, and children under 5 are free. Prices are subject to change for special events.
Weekly racing at the Valley will feature the Las Trancas Super Late Models, Polymer Services UMP Modifieds, Pike Street Lanes Sportmods, Bill’s Auto Salvage FWD 4 Cylinders and Mike’s Auto Body WRA Mini Wedges.

Mar. 24 (Fri.) — Practice (All Classes)
Mar. 31 (Fri.) — Practice (All Classes) plus $750 to win Enduro (Raindate Sun. Apr. 2)
April 7 (Fri.) — Opening Night
April 14 (Fri.) — Regular Racing
April 21 (Fri.) — (BOSS) Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series, plus regular racing
April 28 (Fri.) — SCDRA 4 Cylinder Special, plus regular racing
May 5 (Fri.) — Topless 50 $5,000 to win ULMS Super Late Models, plus regular racing
May 12 (Fri.) — Kids Night featuring Bike Giveaway & Tri-State Outlaw Street Stocks, plus regular racing
May 19 (Fri.) — Vapors in the Valley OVSCA Sprint Series, plus regular racing
May 26 (Fri.) — Steel Block Late Model Series, plus regular racing
June 2 (Fri.) — Night off for WVMS race
June 9 (Fri.) — Picture and Autograph Night, plus regular racing
June 17 (Sat.) — Summer Shootout Truck and Tractor Pull
June 23 (Fri.) — 15th Annual Greg Schilling Memorial UMP Modified ($1,499 to win; $299 to start; $99 fast time, heat, and B-main winners), plus regular racing
June 30 (Fri.) — Sportmod Special, plus regular racing
July 7 (Fri.) — FAST on Dirt 410 Sprint Series, plus regular racing
July 14 (Fri.) — Kids Night (Gold Rush), plus regular racing
July 21 (Fri.) — Toys for Tots Christmas In July, plus regular racing
July 28 (Fri.) — Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series presented by Toyota, plus regular racing
Aug. 4 (Fri.) — Tri-State Outlaw Street Stocks plus Kids BackPack Giveaway, plus regular racing
Aug. 11 (Fri.) — 3rd Annual Pete Smith Memorial presented by Briscoe Run Land Surveying $4,000 to win for the OVSCA Sprint Series, plus regular racing
Aug. 18 (Fri.) — Regular Racing
Aug. 26 (Sat.) — $5,000 to win 5th Annual Keith Barker Memorial for Super Lates, plus regular racing
Sept. 1 (Fri.) — Night off for Hillbilly 100
Oct. 13 (Fri.) — Finale at the Valley Night #1 — Season Championship/ OVSCA Sprints/ Steel Block Late Models/ UMP Modifieds Heats/ Sportmod Heats/ 4 Cylinder Heats
