Mother Nature Takes the Win at Friday Night’s Racing Action
Washington, W.Va. (April 16, 2023) – Friday night racing had a good start last night at The Valley, until storms rolled in and canceled racing action.
15 Las Trancas Super Late Models, 20 Polymer Services UMP Modifieds, 15 Pike Street Lanes Sportmods, 14 Bill’s Salvage Metal SCDRA 4 Cylinders, and 24 Mike’s Auto Body WRA Mini Wedge made up last night’s field.
Racing action got underway at 6 p.m., with the mini wedges hitting the track. Bringing home the feature wins were Bryson Long in the Young Gun Division and Stephen Sutler in the Veteran division. Hotlaps were completed for the Late Models, UMP Modifieds, Sportmods, and 4 Cylinders, and heat races were almost completed before Mother Nature rolled in and canceled the remaining show.
Next week, the Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series will be making an appearance at The Valley, on top of regular racing action. Arm bands purchased last night can be used for the next two weeks. Next week's B.O.S.S. show is more expensive and DIFFERENCE MUST BE PAID. Next week’s show is $20 for general admission and $35 for pit admission. The following week, for the SCDRA 4 Cylinder Special plus regular racing, will be regular price.
